Song Dedications & Requests

Dedications let your listeners send shout-outs and song requests right from your site — a simple, powerful way to build community.

How it works

Visitors fill in a short form (who it's from, who it's for, the song, and a message). Submissions arrive in your dashboard as pending, so nothing appears publicly until you approve it.

Moderating dedications

Go to Dedications to review the queue. For each one you can:

  • Approve it so it appears on your public dedications page.
  • Reject it.
  • Edit the wording before approving.
  • Reply to it. Your reply appears under the dedication on your public page, labelled with your station name.
  • Delete it.

This moderation step keeps your site friendly and on-brand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do dedications appear automatically?

No. Every dedication is held for your approval first, so you stay in control of what's shown.

Can I edit a dedication before publishing?

Yes. You can tidy up the wording, then approve it.

Can I reply to a dedication?

Yes. Click Reply next to any dedication and write a short message. It shows under the dedication on your public site once the dedication is approved. Clear the text and save to remove the reply. Listeners don't leave an email address, so replies are public rather than private messages.

Can listeners include a specific song?

Yes. The form captures the song request along with the dedication message.
